1. Controller
[LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [LEGAL ADDRESS], operates Summit Wars (https://summitwars.com). Contact for privacy requests: kamzkama@gmail.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Advertiser details. Brand name, tagline, website, colour, message and email address. We use them to show your ad, send you your dashboard link and notices about outbids, reviews and seasons, and to contact you about your account. Basis: performing our contract with you.
- Payment records. Amount, date, status and the payment provider's reference. Card and wallet details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us. We keep records for as long as accounting and tax law require. Basis: legal obligation.
- Visit statistics. To count visitors and clicks we store a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, mixed with a secret and the date. It cannot be reversed to your IP, and it changes every day. Raw IP addresses are not stored in our database. Statistics are deleted after 120 days. Basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the service, and showing advertisers their results.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider and web server may keep technical logs (IP address, time, page) for security for a limited time.
3. Cookies and local storage
We do not set cookies. If you place an ad, your browser stores your private dashboard link in local storage, so the page can recognise your brand. You can clear it in your browser settings.
4. Public information
Everything you put in an ad (brand name, tagline, website, colour, message), your rank and the amounts of your payments appear publicly on the board and in the live feed. The Hall of Fame keeps the winning brand's name, website and season statistics permanently. Our announcements on Telegram and social networks may repeat this information. Do not put personal data of other people into an ad.
5. Who receives data
- Payment providers (such as Stripe or NOWPayments) process payments under their own privacy policies.
- Our email provider delivers transactional emails.
- Our hosting provider stores the database.
- Telegram receives public announcements that we post.
- If enabled, a cookie-free analytics service counts page views.
We do not sell personal data. Some providers are located outside your country, including outside the EEA; where required we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. [LIST OF PROCESSORS AND TRANSFER MECHANISMS: to be completed by the site owner with a lawyer.]
6. Retention
Advertiser details are kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Sent emails are deleted from our outbox after 30 days. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires. Hall of Fame entries are permanent.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Write to kamzkama@gmail.com. We cannot delete records we must keep by law, or Hall of Fame entries that are part of the service's public history, but we will remove your email address when you ask.
8. Children
The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We will post changes on this page.
